Some more stuff painted.

Off the shelf of shame:

Original Grenadier miniatures from the late 80s. High in nostalgia factor, but also rather dated. They have been lying about the place since forever, always being relegated to the back of the painting queue. They never were in the lead rot pile, as they were primed in white back in the day.
What actually got them painted at this point in time was a “Paint three of your oldest shelf of shame miniatures” paintalong on the minipainting discord. So I dug these out of the dusty boxes. I rebased them with 25mm of 3D printed rounds to fit my current style of bases.

Wizard and henchman is from the Fantasy Warriors series,
901 Wizard and Companions blister pack (missing the imp)

the Cockatrice is from the Monster Manuscript series

MM13 Cockatrice
Sculpted by John Dennet
Grenadier Miniatures. 1986
Lead metal, 25mm bases

77328 Cinder

Sculpted by Sandra Garrity.
Bones 3 add on
Bones classic white PVC. A bit more rigid than earlier releases, but still;
Note the length of paperclip supporting the knee. This is needed to hold the entire weight of the thing. Before I put this brace in, the snout was grovelling, touching the ground.
100mm base

77328 Eye Beast, because “Beholder” is a trademarked name.

Sculpted by Julie Guthrie
Bones 1 kickstarter core set
Bones classic white PVC
40mm base

Even though it is around two decades old, this sculpt is still one of the very best beholders out there.

Barbarianna or whatever she might be called,

from the Reaper Bones 5 Dungeon Dwellers expansion

Bones Black hard PVC
25mm base

02204 Undead Mummy, Sethis of Adiri
Reaper
Sculpted by Bob Ridolfi
Metal, 25mm base
