I painted the dress with dark red, red metallic paint, red/turquoise colorshift, and some silver mixed in for highlights. The colorshift caused the slightly too glossy finish.

I painted this using several coats of different contrast paints, starting with black templar and vermin grime. Let dry. On top of this, I painted stripes of different colours. Let dry. went in with some red on the stripes’ transitions. Let dry. Then some dabbing black wash from TTcombat here on there. Black rim and done. A proper crude oily look. Maybe it should have been a bit more glossy?

And the monthlies

The All Out War monthly challenge is to paint “surprise” minis such as infiltrators, ambush units and so on. For my Night Gloomspites, I added these minis out of the old lead rot pile: An original Night Goblin Fanatic and three alternative minis from Harlequin that can sub as Fanatics, and an original metal squig. All of these were sculpted by Kev Adams, the Goblin Master.
