I am trying to catch up with the Warhammer Underworlds warbands. If I get the time, I will try to do a couple of them each month going forward. I have done all the first season warbands, and next in line are Stormsire’s Cursebreakers.


They are from the second season Nightvault game set. These Stormcast Wizard-Warriors were introduced with Age of Sigmar Soul Wars around the same time as this set, and Nightvault was a companion to that release, together with the Nighthaunt ghosts.

The ghosts were painted way back when, but the Stormcast were put on the back burner. Until now.

I actually find Stormcast to be a bit boring to paint. Which might explain why they tend to get postponed.

The Stormcast are pretty much übermensch, as in superhuman ogre-sized giant warriors.
