Starting early with some randoms for March.

Or rather, this one is from the end of February.
A 1985 Ral Partha Kappa metal mini from their Bushido / Oriental Adventures line. This is one I salvaged from the lead rot some months back. I still have lots and lots left of those to paint.
Kappas are goblin-like creatures found by rivers and wetlands. Their most distinguishing feature is the cavity filled with water they have on the top of their heads.
So naturally, it’s all about tipping the water out when kappas are encountered. Cruel, maybe, but the Kappa would have us for lunch if they had their way.

The rest were painted this week:

The Dreadwolf Alpha from the Bones 5 Core set. There are two smaller dreadwolves also, that I probably will be painting soon.
This was a very easily painted mini. Lovely textures and well defined details.

Occasionally, the giant Catfish of the Dreadmere wetlands have been known to slither onto dry land to feed on the ambulatory meat-sacks that wander about looking for adventure.

This one was painted just with the colours in the picture.
Top tip: When painting yellow, painting a coat of pink underneath the yellow makes the yellow rich and makes it pop.
