Breaking out some kickstarter rewards again:

These are the “Dark Hold 28mm scale Kobolds”, Horde of 21 of the little blighters from the 2018 kickstarter by Rebel Minis.
Wonderful little things. Well sculpted. One would almost think they were meant to be in a smaller scale…

oh wait, they were originally sold as 20mm Kobolds by Splintered Light Miniatures?
Another kickstarter presented slightly disingenous then. Oh, the humanity!
Not that it matters, they delivered and the minis were perfectly fine as small kobolds in 28mm scale.
Sculpts by Bob Olley.
Metal, 18mm bases.

This is actually sculpted so it could be a giant in a suit of armour, with muscles and armour straps.
Or a Custodes Dreadnought
Recipe for Dark Bronze:
I use vallejo black acrylic primer through my airbrush after washing the model in warm soapy water and an old nailbrush.
To paint I used a large, flat brush.
Heavy drybrush with Vallejo Game Color 72060 Tinny Tin, taking care to not get paint into all the detail. This followed by a mid-strength drybrush with Scalecolor SC-71 Necro Gold and a very light drybrush with Vallejo Model Color 70.801 Brass
That’s it. No washes, layering or anything like that. Just good old drybrushing.
For reaper paints, 09197 Old Bronze and 09464 Cursed Gold with a bit of 09198 Tarnished Brass should achieve similar results, even though the colours are a bit different. Maybe add a spot of reddish brown to the old bronze to make it more similar to Tinny Tin (= old Citadel Tin Bitz).
Copper Verdigris is optional. I did not use anything like that on this model.
