And here are the minis off the second Cult of the Kraken Lord kickstarter that I wrote about a few days ago.

Seven regular sized cultists, two small ones, two tentahounds and two “spawned abominations”. Who are they trying to kid? They are little shoggoths.
The second Kraken Cult kickstarter was named “Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord” and was run August/September 2019, delivered in November / December the same year.
Liek the others, they are really characterful in their simplicity and a joy to paint. I love how they are not laden down with unnessecary details or bits.
This whole lot was painted during the course of a single evening with the bases finished the following day.
I started from a black/grey zenithal undercoat and painted all the robes with a brown-grey-beigeish color called “Iron” from an old paint range by Hobby Games Products, later I drybrushed with Reaper Vampiric Shadow, then Reaper Vampiric Highlight. After all this was dry, a coat of Citadel Athonian Camoshade, re-brushing over the models with a damp soft brush to suck up pools and take some tint off the high bits. When this was dry, a very careful drybrush with the two vampiric colours finish the cloth. (They seem to be slightly washed out in the pictures, the cloth looks really good to my eyes IRL.)
The tentacles and hands were done in different colours. Shoes and bits in thinned grey.
Kommandor the Spawn Master

I used 30mm bases on the hounds and the regular cultists, 25mm bases on the minions and 50mm bases on the Shoggoths.

These minis are all made in metal and currently available from Midlam Miniatures
These minis were finished on Dec 18th, 2020.
