The Tentacles’ Bases Redone

I was not happy with the green slime bases on the various tentacles I recently painted. So I have redone them in my default autumnal flockmix. The flock covers the lump at the base which I did not like the look of.

for comparison:

Better? Not really all that much? A bit perhaps? Equally jarring? Much worse? Maybe I rather should have built up the base with some putty or something instead and gone with the green slime anyway?

Also, Curious Monkey!

An Ally model from Shadows of Brimstone: Forbidden Fortress. Classic Japanese Macaque, the eponymous Snow Monkey. This was a five minute paint job just to get started on the Forbidden Fortress models.

A Boy and His Dog? Yeah…I really need to get one of the Japanese-style heroes done to have a fitting model for the comparison shots going forward…

All the models are on 30mm bases.
