Shadows of Brimstone: Custodians of Targa

Plonking away at the backlog of wave 1.5 Shadows of Brimstone minis.

The Custodians of Targa are spidery robotic servant caretaker automatons, reminiscent of the Dwarven Spider Guardians from Skyrim. The similarities are more than superficial; these are also leftovers of an ancient civilisation that has dissappeared, and patrol the empty halls of their builders, brutally assaulting any and all unfortunate visitors with deadly intent.

The paint job was exeedingly simple to do.

Base/undercoat with Army Painter Platemail Spray (done  ages ago).

Each was given a seperate wash with different inks ranging from red to greenish brown and blue black.

When dry, Eyes in bright blue then with a blue ink wash. Dotted some gold paint on protruding studs and bits, with some red and green on the front panel. Ready for action!

No bases! (If I were to base them, they would cover too much space on the game board!)

Painted miniatures so far this year: 264 / 365 -just 101 to go!
