I have had far too much to do with work these last few months, and the painting has all been squeezed in between the cracks. Just getting in some minutes here and there. Taking pictures for posting has been just out, apart from quick, single snaps to get them in the Reaper Challenge League in time for the deadlines.
This weekend I have actually had some free time, so I have played catch up with taking some “proper” pictures and writing this post. Mostly to free up the mental space by crossing it off the list of stuff I have not had time for, you know?
(actually, this weekend is like the calm before the storm, next weekend is already fully booked with a flood of work to be done. I have four weeks left of my contract, after that I should have some more time to play around with little plastic figures. Huzzah.)
Enough rambling. Here are all the minis I painted in April.

As can easily be seen, these are all pretty low effort, speedpainting. Not particulary proud of this. On the other hand, considering the time taken, they are perfectly fine.
They are all for the RCL April monthly challenges.
April Player Character
Sister Agnes Pugnacious of the Chattering Order of St Beryl
The mini is Reaper Bones 80028 Sister Maria
One of the very few Larger Lady minis in existence.
From the Bones 2 kickstarter core set, “Pulp action” subset
30mm base, Classic Bones PVC white
April Monster
The mini is 02079 Komray the Dogs of War handler.
Reaper metal mini, Dark Heaven Legends series
30mm base, metal. This mini is from my stash of old minis.
The set this minis comes in includes three undead dogs. These I painted 20+ years ago.
April theme: No more sunrises
77160 Judas Bloodspire, Vampire
From the Bones 1 core set, Grave Danger subset
30mm base, Classic Bones PVC white
Just some random vampire I fished out of the bones drawers to match the theme.
April New Release
Sean, the Irish Bastard.
The mini is Bones USA 30003 Finn Greenwell, Leprechaun
This was a freebie with Reaper mail orders in March for orders over GBP 40.
The Bones USA material is proving to be a very good material.
April Limited Palette:
Mini is 77271 Dragon Hatchling Blue
From the Bones 2 kickstarter core set, “Dragon Hatchlings” subset
30mm base, Classic Bones PVC white
These dragons are really soft in the detail department.
This paint job might be the worst I have done in ages.
April Freebie
From the Bones 2 kickstarter Expansion #3.
40mm base, Classic Bones PVC white
The Bathalian models have much better details than the dragon hatchlings from the same KS.
April Duo with @Manvsmini
From the Bones 1 core set
30mm base, Classic Bones PVC white
April Trio with @Inarah and @thoramel
From the Bones 2 kickstarter Expansion #3.
40mm base, Classic Bones PVC white
Again, the Bathalian models have much better details than the dragon hatchlings from the same KS.
