This piece wraps up the first quarter, a clean sweep* including all the monthly challenges for each of the first three months. Next up is to get something done for the bi-annual “Page-O-Rama”, sooner rather than later.
*Clean sweep assuming the other members of the duo, trio and groups I am in finish their pieces and deliver in time that is.

This is the 44131 Tree of Despair, with the 77546 Barbarian Mouslings.
The inspiration both for the “Tree of Despair” and the “Barbarians” should be apparent, vultures and all:
The female mousling being Red Sonya in her trademark chainmail bikini.
I made a 110m base for the tree, and glued it down after flattening the underside of the roots by sticking the bottom half of the tree in boiled water for a few minutes, then holding it flat on the table, and into ice cold water to set the new shape.
The mouslings are stuck down with a small amount of blue tack, and can be removed so I can use the tree for a wargame or something, maybe even mount the crucified barbarian model from the original set.
But for now, a diorama.

I seem to be lagging behind the monthly goals here… Good thing the Easter break only is a week or so off. I might be able to get at least a couple of days off to do some painting.
