Random minis of the week #3-7, Bones

 

 

3.

Formorian Giant aka The Great Mutato! (Did they spell Fomorian wrong on purpose? Fomorians being monstrous, supernatural creatures from the underworld of Irish mythology, much like the Jotun frost giants of Norse)

From Bones 3 core set, this Chaos mutant thingy takes the medal for overtraining half of his body. I imagine his (her?) family tree is a straight line.

A more greek-inspired Minotaur than most others I have seen. So, bronze and leathers.

I thought this elf was female, but no. That is elves for you. In any case, gender really does not matter anyway for most things other than procreation. (edit: ze has swapped gender from metal version to the bones version, and is now sold as “Elf Heroine” in bones and “Vale Swordsman Elven Grunt” in metal.)

I could not find this one in Bones at reapermini.com so I do not know what it is supposed to be called or what it’s code is. (Edit it has later been pointed out to be by Xiwo Xerase of the reaper forum what this mini is)

-so it has swapped gender from metal to bones.

 

 

7.

Merisiel, Iconic Rogue from the Bones Pathfinder line, and the first Bones kickstarter. Soft bones, soft details pretty much sums it up. So this got a very quick paint job. Nothing to be especially proud of, but here it is.
