After the Desert of the Dead zombies, a bunch of mostly random minis rounds out the first half of July.

Going left to right:

This one comes from yesteryear: a Dwarf Blood Totem Keeper from the game Chronopia. This miniature originally came in a boxed set together with a Blood Totem, which is a great big minotaur-like monsterbeastthingy. The Blood Totem was produced with a resin body and metal head, arms and tusks (as far as I remember). I first got a miscast and received a new box, which left me with an extra keeper. This one. It will do nicely as a classic chaos dwarf.

What good is a bunch of Ancient Egyptian zombie slaves without a proper mummy to provide some will? Hence, the inspiration to paint this one.

This one was on the same tray as the Keeper, and it seemed as he needed another evil-looking companion for emotional support, so I picked it as well.
I believe it was part of a second hand lot of minis I bought a few years ago. It has been standing in a tray ever since, ready for some paint.

I should have filled out the base with some putty or something.

This one was actually painted in the end of June, but did not get in on the June round up. So I am counting it for July. Not that it really matters at all.
The model has three thin, spidery legs underneath. In Bones classic white. Well. Maybe not the best idea. These parts are a good example of bits where a more rigid material would have been appropriate.

The pictures do not show all the colours, the claws are bluish and the body is greenish. Oh well, more contrasting colours next time.

Three halflings in rather heavy armour. Still barefoot though.
These have been standing around in the tray for ages, unloved but not forgotten.

This one was chosen for the easy win. I intended it for the player chracter category in the RCL, but the initial pictures I took turned out pretty badly because of some glossy effect from the paint used on her face and hair. I used Army Painter Anti-Shine to fix the problem, but not until I had used another model for the RCL.

Painted so far this year: (Miniatures: 142 / 365 goal // scenery and terrain: 6)
January: 38 // 5
February: 20
March: 11 / 1
April: 8
May: 13
June: 20
July: 32
So, to catch up with my goal of painting on average one mini a day through the year, I will need to paint five minis each day for the rest of July. And that is just to get even with the days vs minis count.
Love Spiney Norman and been a fan of that Night Spectre since I saw someone use it as a Zona Alfa anomaly!
