The second lot of mounted Bones models, bringing the painted total up to 5 out of 9 mounted models in total.

Bedecked in spikes and skulls, the hallmark of an evil knight. So, Red, black and dark metals to emphasize this.

This model also needed a weapon swap, as the original sword was similar to boiled noodle. The new sword is from the weapon sprues off the Bones 2 KS that were never released to retail.

This model was sculpted by Chaz Elliott. I based it on a 60x35mm 3D-printed oval. It is made in classic white Bones PVC material that was listing to the right and had to be pinned to the base to make it stand upright.

44092 Overlord Cavalry from Bones 4 Fan Favorites Expansion.

Being made in Bones Black, the rigid material is more than strong enough to keep the model upright. No pinning or weapon swaps nessecary.

And to the right we have the

44055 Bloodstone Gnome Cavalry from the Bones 4 Darkreach Expansion. Darkreach would be the Reaper version of the Underdark from the Forgotten Realms, which would make the Bloodstone Gnomes the Underdark Deep Gnomes, aka Svirfneblin.

I found this model really difficult to read. What the eff are all those lumps supposed to be? Where is the face? And why does it look vaguely Aztec? Is that really a dinosaur skull on a beetle, or the head of the beetle? Or is it meant to be a spider? Whut it be?

I made some guesstimates and painted in the bits as what I thought they might be. Still not sure if everything is correct.

This was sculpted by Werner Klocke and made in Bones Black PVC. I pinned it to a 40mm base I had lying about.
