Thank you. Azazel,
Beastsofwar.com, or ontabletop.com as they are changing their brand to, has a thriving miniatures and wargames community, and the forums have popular “what are you painting now”-threads and they have a proprietary project platform on the website that people can create and keep miniblogs on. I have started using the project system there to collate some of my blog posts by game or by theme.
Each week the BoW staff chooses three items from recent forum posts or projects that they particularly like or are impressed by, and they award a so-called golden button to.
The golden button winners get shown off, mentions and shoutouts in the weekly livechats and whatnot, It’s more of a participation award than a competition prize, but it’s nice to get the recognition nonetheless ;P
Congratulations mate! How does all that work?
