Off the shelf of shame, part III. Also Drake.

Another old, half painted, uninspired figure from the shelf.  A metal Reaper Knight on Foot, The mini istelf is really nice.

But for some reason it has been sitting around half-baked for ages. I have also rebased it with a Citadel 20mm base.

At any rate, now it is done. There is a similar one with a sword that still resides on the shelf, thought. That one is being more heavily repainted.

Another one that also has been sitting on the shelf, a few weeks instead of a few years, is the mini for the Drake Cherek Hunters that I was doing a test paint on. So now I have at last finished it.

The skin tones are a new approach for me, being light and clear demanding much more neat painting style than I am used to.

This is an army from the Mountain Lords faction, and I wanted to do something completely different with them.

The official versions are obvious Noble Savages, loosely based on African sub-Sahara archetypes. I am theming this as a frostpeople-type thing. They are after all, not human.

They came from the Land of the Ice and the Snow!
