So. ages since last post, my camera went on the fritz again, and I have been without until now.
Anyhow,
still waiting for the Kickstarter “Boneami” to come flooding with 200+ figures, seems it will be until late summer before it will get sent.
Here is the first of the Bones finished:
A relatively quick and easy paint job, also a new way (for me) of finishing the base.
Bones is easy to cut, drill and superglue (glues really fast and sticks rock hard!). But mould lines are a problem, as the material resists scraping and filing. The mould lines need to be sliced off, which in many cases probably will ruin more detail than leaving them.
So here I opted to leave them for the most part, they were not that obtrusive. Look at the rignt arm for one.
Also, Bones need to be undercoated by brush, as aerosol sprays just go sticky and won’t dry. Or at least that is what I have heard.
