The Others: 7 Sins: Apocalypse!

Apocalypse Now! (sorry, just had to)

The Others: 7 Sins boardgame has an Expansion named Apocalypse. Unsurprisingly, it includes versions of The Four Horsemen…and a …Thing…called Greater Demon of the Apocalypse:

They are all large minis. Apocalypse (in case you have not guessed it, the tentacled monstrosity second from the left) is 130mm tall!

This must be one of the busiest minis I ever have painted. There are tentacles, teeth and whatnot everywhere. I guess the brief was “stick some tentacles on it, and call it Cthuloid…I got a fever, and the only cure is more tentacles… no, I said MOAR TENTACLES! MOAR!” and this is the result.

I mean, I am quite partial to tentacles, here they might have gone slightly overboard.

Well, that is the “Greater Demon of the Apocalypse”.

The base is 65mmx45mm.

Death…err, no. DEATH.

The base is 35mm.

Famine.

The base is 45mm.

Pestilence. or Pollution, if you will.

The base is 35mm.

and War. What is he good for?

The base is 40mm.

All are made of PVC board game plastic.

I started these as a possible Lead Painters League round 8 entry, but I got knocked out in round 7. At the same time my arms started acting up, so I would not have been able to finish them in time anyway.

At least they are done now.

The Tally so far:

Finished from the Bobby Box: 99  / 126   (+10 / 13 casualties, small animals etc)

Just 27 left to do! (plus some small bits like casualties and the half skeleton . I think I might have counted those wrong, as I seem to have 4 of those left, not three)

Finished from the stash: 124

Finished minis in total this year: 223 / 365 (target one for each day on average)

January: 59

February: 24

March: 62

April: 34

May: 25

June: 12

July: 0

August: 7

  1. Sublime work on these guys. I like the little appropriate touch on “war”. Consider that one stolen!
